Prose, based in Paris and Brooklyn, New York, has developed ROOT SOURCE™, a two-step process that works ‘from the inside out to help balance the scalp and improve hair health and growth’.
The first step consists of personalized capsules filled with a cocktail of vitamins, minerals, plant extracts and antioxidants that target the specific root cause of thinning hair and promote a balanced scalp. Each custom capsule is designed to be taken daily with one softgel made of a proprietary, unique blend of ingredients. These are highly concentrated in millet, a plant-based ingredient that is clinically shown to stimulate hair follicles.
Prose Cyrille Deschamp, VP of Operations at Prose, said: “We started working with PONT Emballage specifically for the launch of ROOT SOURCE™.
“We chose to use Beatson Clark’s amber glass for this product for two reasons: first, it allows us to protect the plant-based ingredients from UV ray exposure, keeping the product fresh and effective; second, caring for the environment is one of our core brand values and using glass is a more sustainable packaging option.”.
Charlotte Pike, Marketing Manager at UK glass manufacturer Beatson Clark, agrees that amber glass containers are perfect for hair, beauty and cosmetics products. “Amber glass offers a luxurious, premium look to any product, and because glass is inert, we can be sure there’s no risk that the contents inside will be altered or damaged in any way,” she said. “Amber glass is also great at protecting the product inside from harmful ultraviolet light.”
Ulric Lonfils, Marketing Manager at PONT Europe, explained that PONT and its sister company Beatson Clark work together to offer global customers like Prose a strong network of expertise in glass packaging.
“As sister companies we have a close and long-standing relationship which is going from strength to strength,” he explained. “Our partnership gives customers easy access to a dedicated flexible glass packaging manufacturer and added sales reach across Europe and beyond. Customers benefit from our flexibility in creating and delivering bespoke glass packaging and our open communication keeps everyone in the loop.”
