French container glass manufacturer Saverglass has inaugurated its second Mexican furnace.
The inauguration ceremony of Furnace number 13 took place at its Acatlan facility in Jalisco state, Mexico last weekend.
It is the second furnace the company has launched at the site and the ceremony took place in the presence of Saverglass President Jean Marc Arrambourg and group CEO Loic de Gromard, as well as staff. The French group opened its facility in Acatlan in 2018 with a furnace of approx. 85,000 tons/year. The new furnace will double production capacity and help meet demand in the Americas.
This move is supported by Saverglass move to expand with a Multi-Service Warehouse in Fairfield, California.
