Float glass furnace in Brazil to stop for repairs

Guardian confirms maintenance of the Tatuí (SP) furnace.

Guardian confirmed this week that it will carry out a scheduled shutdown of the furnace at the Tatuí factory, in São Paulo, during the last week of April, which begins on the 28th. production will resume the following month, in May.

The furnace repair stop is part of the plant's efforts to ensure operational excellence and the quality of its services. The company informs that it has been preparing for this moment for months, implementing preventive measures to ensure that production levels are not affected. The procedure is carried out periodically and the last maintenance was carried out in April 2021.
