Varrotec launches hot end glass coating solution

Dutch glass post treatment company Varrotec has launched a hot end coating solution.

Based on growing demand from pharmaceutical and small container glass manufacturers, Varrotec has developed a dedicated smaller VC1 hood to reduce losses during the hot end coating process step and improve the efficiency and sustainability of the hood.

Varrotec also has a first artificial intelligence (AI) powered system to manage real-time production results in the container glass process.

To reduce downtime and loss of revenue, a machine learning and predictive analytics-based solution prevents production inefficiencies and equipment failures for packaging glass production lines.

Varrotec has also partnered with DinterS a cold end coating spray bridge linked to a stand-alone mixing unit for flexible application in a range of glass production lines.

The bridge can be implemented with various types of spray guns, including an ultra-slim version.
