"This is our first time at the expo, which has provided us with a substantial platform to meet clients from both the upstream and downstream segments of the industry chain," said Han Yachao, senior business manager of Henan Ancai Hi-Tech, "That has opened up new global opportunities for us."
Han said the company, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, operates a national-level enterprise technology center and a post-doctoral research station.
According to Han, the company ranks second globally in mass-producing solar thermal glass substrates, breaking the foreign technological monopoly. The company's annual output can supply 2-gigawatt solar thermal power stations.

"The company began its shift toward the new energy industry in 2009, entering the photovoltaic industry," Han said. "That year, we manufactured the world's thinnest photovoltaic glass at 2.0 mm, demonstrating our sophisticated production techniques, as thinner photovoltaic glass requires more advanced manufacturing processes."
"Throughout our development, we have consistently prioritized technological innovation," he added.
The company actively pursues international collaborations. "We highly value our international partnerships, exporting our photovoltaic glass to top-tier companies across various countries and regions. These global interactions enhance our capabilities and benefit us economically and technologically," said Wang Meng, business manager of Henan Ancai Hi-Tech.
Wang said the company seeks to expand internationally and searches for project consulting services. "At this expo, we have connected with service providers from Saudi Arabia and had productive discussions with them. The efficiency with which we established these new contacts is unprecedented."
Despite tariff challenges, Wang remains optimistic about international cooperation. "The greater the difficulty, the more crucial it is to reach out and engage. Otherwise, barriers will only heighten and deepen misunderstandings."
