Gemeinsam mit unseren Projektpartnern (IPGR, RWTH Aachen und Wiegand-Glas) verfolgen wir das Ziel, einen CO2 neutralen Schmelzprozess für Behälterglas zu entwickeln. Mit der entsprechenden Peripherie wird eine vollständige Behälterglasherstellung abgebildet.
Im Projekt werden systematisch verschiedene Betriebszustände angefahren und präzise untersucht, wie diese den Glasschmelzprozess, die Wechselwirkungen der Ofenatmosphäre mit dem Feuerfestmaterial, die Formgebung und die Produktqualität beeinflussen.
Diese hochflexible Hybridwanne feierte das Erste Glas am 28.10.2024. Anfang dieses Jahres wurde der erste Betriebszustand erfolgreich angefahren und stabil gehalten, sodass eine Vielzahl an Messungen durchgeführt werden konnte. Diese Daten werden im Vergleich der Betriebszustände den Referenzfall darstellen.
In der Zwischenzeit wird das Anfahren des nächsten Betriebszustandes vorbereitet: in den nächsten Schritten soll unter anderem der elektrische Boostinganteil variiert werden. Weitere Betriebszustände, wie die Befeuerung mit H2/O2 werden danach angegangen.
