Grenzebach-Sorg Engineering (GSE) has appointed Robert Homer as its Managing Director.

Mr Homer took over the leadership on January 1 this year. He is a familiar figure in the glass industry with more than 20 years experience in the sector.

He has worked for several glass manufacturers throughout his career, acquired project engineering experience and overseen major international projects. 

This included delivering new float and solar manufacturing facilities in Europe, Asia, India and North and South America.

“I’m looking forward to being a big part of GSE’s journey,” he said. “With our portfolio of products and services, I am dedicated to developing new synergies for our customers with a one-stop solution.”

Mr Homer joined Grenzebach in August 2022 as Business Development Manager

He succeeds Dennis Schattauer, who is has taken over a position at Grenzebach BSH. 

Grenzebach-Sorg Engineering is a partnership between the two family-run companies.
