Inaugurated in 2022, Forest Campus in Warsaw keeps making its mark as an esthetic and technical success story in Polish architecture. With its green courtyard, 120-meter-high three-part tower, and nearly 80,000 m2 of innovative space with flexible layouts, co-working, retail and catering areas, the complex has convinced more than 20 companies to take up residence there.
The bronze-colored vertical slats on the façade evoke tree bark, while the natural colors inside are reminiscent of flora: this desire for a design inspired by nature was the idea of Polish architects HRA. They also set out to reduce the carbon footprint of the campus and improve its energy performance. To achieve this, they used over twenty Saint-Gobain solutions, including COOL-LITE® XTREME 70/33 solar control glass and COOL-LITE® SKN 176 highly transparent glass, as well as Isover stone wool panels, Rigips® plasterboard and Ecophon® acoustic ceilings.
This ambitious project – which has received BREEAM (excellent level) and WELL certification – has received a number of awards over the months, including the Polish Green Building Award (PLGBC) 2021, and more recently, in June 2023, three new prizes for its architecture, accessibility and contribution to development of the real estate market.
