Der Verwaltungsrat der Vetropack Holding AG ernannte Evan Williams per 1. Juni 2019 zum neuen gruppenweiten Leiter Marketing, Verkauf und Produktionsplanung. Er wird zudem Mitglied der Gruppenleitung.
Evan Williams, 52, schloss sein Studium der Betriebswirtschaft und Angewandten Psychologie an der Aston University in Birmingham, UK, mit dem Grad eines Bsc Honours ab. Zudem führt der in Grossbritannien geborene Williams einen MBA-Titel der Ashridge Hult International Business School, UK. In den letzten 25 Jahren setzte der verhandlungsstarke Manager seinen beruflichen Schwerpunkt beim Verpackungsglas: Für O-I Europe leitete er regionen- und kategorienübergreifend die Bereiche Marketing und Verkauf. Zuletzt war er für globale funktionsübergreifende Key Account-Teams verantwortlich. Williams ist strategie- und zielorientiert und auch bestens mit der Produktionsplanung vertraut.
Der jetzige Leiter Marketing, Verkauf und Produktionsplanung, Marcello Montisci, reduzierte bereits per Ende Februar sein Arbeitspensum um 50 Prozent. Bis zu seinem wohlverdienten Ruhestand Ende 2019, wird er der Vetropack-Gruppe für spezielle Projekte weiterhin zur Verfügung stehen.
